When developing or working in a spiritual or metaphysical awareness group or for an individual, there are guidelines of personal conduct that should be noted. Without rules or guidelines in any field there is complete discord; it lies within each participant to adhere to them. It is your responsibility to uphold this "Code of Ethics." because without respect and honor, we have nothing. Take time to briefly consider how your influence is being used and how you will be effecting.
There is an emotional need to study with a group to aid in self-realization, which is necessary for the emotional, and intellectual clarity needed for growth. Where you stand and where the world is around you are perimeters that can and will be explored with an individual or group. The process of growth by reducing fear, lowering defenses and freeing oneself to open, honest and spontaneous communication in depth, can occur only when there is integrity and trust. Trust in the confidentiality of personal information is necessary in developing the cooperative spirit. Breaking that confidence can be detrimental to the individuals effected. Keep everything confidential and discreet.
Be aware of others and be observant, yet, do not judge others. Accept, respect and permit their right to exist the way they choose. Account only for yourself and others must account only for themselves. Being non-judgmental will help in freeing communication.
Don't try to change or aver another's belief structure. Present your honest opinions when asked but allow others to pursue God in their own way and in their own time. You are here for sharing not persuading. Just as you feel imposed upon or even threatened when another tries to convince you of an alternative truth, others may feel the same if you do so. They may turn away as result or worse yet, they may accept your belief structure because it is yours. Offer your truth with an open hand but always with the message to look within to find their own truth because realization comes with self-understanding.
Don't try to lead another on a certain path. Although some may follow, that is their choice, do not accept responsibility of another's choice for they need to accept their own responsibility. Accept your responsibility absolutely and proudly for as you do you accept your right to existence. If you find others trying to shift responsibility onto others for their situation, avoid them, for all in their path will be made the focal point of their difficulties.
Personality conflicts occur in all walks of life, however, they can be minimized by accepting each other's points of view or their right to have them. Because one does not agree or is radical in their opposition that gives no right for "healing" or "purification" thoughts to be imposed upon them. Cinder no circumstance will you go unbidden to any person to make mind or psychic contact. If you feel there is a reason to go to an individual you will first ask and receive their permission. Unbidden contact is an intrusion. In actuality, the lack of resistance will do more to reduce opposition than any kind of friendly persuasion. The idea that thoughts can be imposed can do harm to the quality of the group and individual freedom of thought is paramount.
You are what you are, as you act, and you think what you think. Present yourself openly and honestly in that Light. Progress is ever changing and accepting one another's right to think freely is encouraging progress. As we develop our own sensitivities we learn to sense concealment and this encourages distrust. An open attitude adds to strength and growth and will benefit both the learning and progress of the group and the self. Expanding these ideas to a way of thinking may help the biggest group of all - that of the cooperation of all beings.
